From the intersection of First Street and Vermont Avenue in zip code 90004 in Los Angeles: go one block east on First Street, turn right on Bimini.  You are in LAEV.  Our main building and office is the  first building on the right: 117 Bimini Place.  First and Vermont is about three miles west of downtown Los Angeles, about 4 miles southeast (as the crow flies) from the Hollywood sign,  and six blocks north of Wilshire Boulevard.

Easily accessible by foot, bike, public transit  or some combination thereof.

From LAX via the Flyaway Bus to Union Station
Call 1-866-435-9529 for info. 
Catch the Flyaway outside each terminal at the Green Sign marked with "FlyAway, Buses and Long-Distance Vans."  The Flyaway bus comes about every 1/2 hour till 11:30 pm, then about every hour till 5:30 am.  Cost is $4; you pay when you arrive and present your ticket to collect your baggage.  Make sure you get on the Flyaway headed for Union Station.   They will load and unload your baggage onto the bus.

When you arrive at Union Station (about 20 to 30 minutes), ask directions to the Metro Redline which is inside the building closest to you when you get off the bus.  Go  down the escalator.  Buy your ticket at the wall ticket kiosk ($1.25).  Catch the Metro Redline subway marked "North Hollywood".   Exit at Beverly/Vermont; it is the 6th stop from Union Station and will take about 12 minutes.

When you come up from the subway and are facing Vermont Avenue, turn right (south, away from the mountains) and walk two blocks on Vermont to First Street.  Turn left on First Street for one block.  Turn right on Bimini Place.  You're in L.A. Eco-Village.  Come to first building on your right, the big yellow building, 117 Bimini Place.

By Metro in Local Areas
We are only a few minutes by foot from the Metro at Beverly/Vermont, the Rapid on Vermont, the Rapid on Wilshire, the #204 on Vermont, the #16 or #316 on Third St., the #14 or #11 on Beverly.  See  www.mta.net for schedules or call 213/626-4455.  Generally, these busses come fairly frequently, every 5 to 15 minutes during the day and early evening, and 20 to 30 minutes during the night.  

Still driving? If you can’t find a parking space on the street, you may want to park at Vons at 2^nd and Bimini at the south end of Bimini Place.

From the Hollywood Freeway #101: Exit at Vermont (if coming from downtown, this is about 3 miles north of downtown L.A.; if coming from Hollywood Vermont is after the Hollywood exits). Go south on Vermont about 1/4 mile to First Street. Then continue as above (from intersection of 1st and Vermont).

From the Santa Monica Freeway #10: Exit at Vermont. Go about 4-5 miles
north to First Street and continue as above (from intersection of 1st and Vermont).

From the Harbor Freeway #110: Exit at Third Street. Continue west for 3-4 miles to Vermont. Turn right on Vermont for two blocks to First Street and continue as above (from intersection of First & Vermont).

From the #10 San Bernadino or #60 Pomona Freeway. Take through downtown Los Angeles and interchange onto the #101 Hollywood Freeway heading north.  Exit at Vermont (this is about 3 miles north of downtown L.A. Turn left (south) on Vermont for about 1/4 mile to First Street. Turn left on First Street for one block. Turn right on Bimini.
