* Convert two CRSP-owned apartment buildings (48 units of housing) to permanently affordable co-op
ownership to be known as Urban Soil/Tierra Urbana Co-op
* CRSP plans to donate the land underneath its two buildings to the new
Beverly-Vermont Community Land Trust which CRSP helped create
* CRSP plans to participate with the Beverly-Vermont Community Land Trust
in the acquisition of more housing within the LA Eco-Village neighborhood.
- Transportation
- Reduce the number of private autos owned by intentional Eco-Villagers by 50% over 2000
number.
Provide more outdoor bicycle racks and secure bike parking.
- Energy & Water

*Continue to Eco-retrofit and conserve for substantial reductions in energy and water consumption in the CRSP owned buildings.
*Install solar hot water system in 40-unit CRSP-owned apartment building.
*Install a demonstration gray water system.

*Install a demonstration living machine (biological waste water treatment system).
*Reduce Eco-Villagers' landfill waste by 75% of its 1995 volume in CRSP-owned buildings.
- Food
- Increase neighborhood organic food production to provide 20% of diet for 20 people. Obtain another 40% of diet for 20 people via neighborhood organic food buying co-op.
- Livelihood
- Establish new neighborhood-based eco-businesses sufficient to be a significant means of support for 12 persons who reside in the two-block neighborhood.
- Education
- *Further develop the Institute for Urban Ecovillages providing special events,
workshops, forums, conferences, teach-ins, networking and dialogue groups on
all aspects of sustainable urban community living in the L.A. area.

*Establish a public charter school or home schooling program for up to 20 children who live in or adjacent to Eco-Village.
* Provide interactive tours to local school children.
* Provide weekly tours targeted to educating public officials as well as the
general public and those touring from around the world.
- Streetscape

*Develop detailed plan for "shared street" on Bimini Place in conjunction with the City of Los
Angeles for implementation in 2007-2008.
*. Enhance pedestrian and bicycle friendly streets.
*Develop integrated landscape design linking school with neighborhood and mitigating vehicular traffic.
* Eliminate diesel trucks and busses on Bimini Place.

* Plan for the creation of a fruit and nut orchard in a parking lane on Bimini Place.

*Hold weekly community potluck dinners with up to 40 Eco-Villagers.
*Establish conflict resolution processes which are regularly used by 25% of residents in the two-block neighborhood.
*Increase participation in neighborhood work parties.
*Establish three artists in residence with daily interactive performance, craft and visual arts accessible to all neighbors and passers-by in the neighborhood.
*Develop a neighborhood association of 100 households regularly engaging in civic
activity
