Update on
L.A. Eco-Village Struggles with L.A. Unified School District
On May 29, 2008 at a community meeting sponsored by LAUSD, the
District re-confirmed that it is planning to develop a parking lot for 137 cars
on the current 1.75 acre site of White House Place Primary Center, a
kindergarten school that will no longer be needed with the new Elementary School
#20 is developed on the current Virgil Middle School playing field. The
